I have been a huge fan of Sram deraillluers as long as I can remember. When you shift one of these things you actually feel the shift as opposed to the limp noodle feeling with Shimano. The exact actuation is the ticket.
Also, these derailleurs look killer on any bike. With the multiple color ways and the carbon fiber cages you can't go wrong.
The only con I have which maybe is a testament to my mechanical ability...rear wheel installation is really difficult. I have an XO short cage on my DH bike and when it is in the stand I end up having a battle royal with the derailleur springs just to get the upper pulley to clear the cassette. It's tough but it's worth it because I would take this over a Shimano component any day...better performance, better customer service, and better looks...just down right better.

Rocking this on a Trek Superfly 100 for a full XO drive train. Nothing but good things to say about the shifting. Precise, reliable and smooth. Get this and never look back.

Went with this for a full X0 driveline/shifters - relplaced a Shimano XT unit that I was never happy with.
I can say that this shifts like an angle sliding down a rainbow - snappy bang bang style shifting - inspired lots of confidence on the trails when you are always sure your gears will be right there even under power.

Shifts great and the 10 speeds gives you more choices for how fast you want to spin those chicken legs of yours. This derailleur is going to convert all my bikes to Sram although I will never get used to the double tap on their road components (off topic)
