This is my primary tail light (I use a flasher on back of my helmet), and I use this anytime I'm exposed to traffic. The beam is bright and wide. In my garage, it's not a spot on the wall; it's a worklight. The amber flashers draw attention and improve side visibility. USB rechargimg makes it easy to keep it fully charged. My only complaint is that it really only mounts securely on my seatpost. The mount doesn't fit rear rack tubing, and the light has too much mass to stay secure on a seat bag loop or rack trunk loop. Road bumps will shake it loose. Mine came off on a rough road at about 25 mph. The light survived with minor case scratches, but now I only mount it to the seatpost. The design is sleek and polished. It's entering its second yeat of service, keeping me visible in the dark Pacific Northwest.
