I am using these on Mavic Open Pro rims and they fit perfectly.

I was a little concerned while installing them that I may stretch them too far and they could snap, but they held up fine.

These are a lot lighter than the cloth rim strips by the *other* company, and also do not have any of that sticky adhesive as that *other* company's cloth rim strips.

If you ride clinchers and need a rim strip, these are perfect option. I expect these to last at least the life of my tires.

I expected more of these. Mounted them on my Stans Flow rims, and they went on just fine. I change tires pretty regularly and noticed that the edges would sometimes fold into a ridge that would require flattening. They also shifted a bit on the rim. I expected them to have grippier surface contact with the rim. That said, no issues with it really, but haven't changed tires in a while.

Comments about Ritchey Snap-On Rim Tape:

With a couple of tire levers, this rim tape went on without a hitch. These do fit snugly and require a bit of adjustment once on the rim. I've found it easiest to start the tape with a golf tee in the valve hole and start it around the rim then once the tension builds I used 2 tire levers on opposite ends and pull them towards one another until it's completely on the rim. The golf tee is also useful for adjusting the tape once it's on.

Comments about Ritchey Snap-On Rim Tape:

I was constantly getting blowouts and going through tubes really quickly. Finally realized that the cheap plastic rim tape that came standard on my new wheel set had dimples that were as much as 1/8" deep. Swapped them for the Ritcheys and have rolled 500 miles with no blowouts. This tape is strong.

Comments about Ritchey Snap-On Rim Tape:

I had some Specialized stretch-able rim strips on a mountain and a road bike and both ended up slipping to the side and exposing the spoke heads. So far,so good on these Richeys. They are wide enough to cover the spoke heads and have room for any little bit of slippage. A bit of an effort to install them, but that's good so you know they're on there solid. No spoke head flats. Just one from an industrial staple in the road.

Comments about Ritchey Snap-On Rim Tape:

This synthetic rim strip will not rot, deform, or puncture like the stock rubber bands. The blue color helps to verify placement. Just use an old valve stem to hold the strip in place and a thin screwdriver to roll it on the rim.

Comments about Ritchey Snap-On Rim Tape:

Good product. I used this to replace the OEM on a stock cross wheel. Those were cheap and had rough edges that kept puncturing my tubes.
These are wide enough to cover the rim very well and with enough elasticity to form around the well area.
It was a bit tricky to install but by using a screwdriver in the valve hole it made it easier to align the strips and pull it on.
I'm old school and still love the adhesive clement rim strip. But, I'd buy these again.
