got rid of shifters these were 1/2 pound lighter and i bought the brown hoods to go with them not easy to get the old ones off but some windex and the new ones went right on

went to road bars on a commuter bike and used the cane creek levers. they were so comfortable that i bought a second pair for an old road bike i had. great for doing a lot of miles on. love them!!

This product has been phenomenal during my time using it. It is being run with a set of SRAM Apex Brakes with Shimano Dura Ace Cabling against a set of Velocity Deep V Machined Rims. Once properly adjusted there is absolutely no slop within the brake system, no mash feeling or need to readjust. Absolutely wonderful feeling! Very hard to beat for the price. My recommendation to all would be if you wear anything under a Medium sized glove (possibly even a large) get the compact version of these brakes. They do have a long reach.
