Rocky Mountain has, arguably, some of the nicest mountain bikes in the business. They have taken that same love of high performance purpose driven bicycles and applied it to their extensive road bike line. The Rocky Mountain Solo Pro RSL is aimed at the rider looking for maximum performance from their bike to carry them during spirited training rides, century or racing every weekend.
The Rocky Mountain Solo Pro RSL’s frame sits as the top of the line road frame for Rocky Mountain Bicycles. Unlike the other models, the Rocky Mountain Solo Pro RSL has a Super Hi-Modulus SL Carbon Monocoque frame. The beauty of carbon fiber is the ability to “tune” the carbon fiber to reach a desired ride quality. That is how the Rocky Mountain Solo Pro RSL can remains stiff enough to transfer power, but supple enough to minimize the constant road chatter that filters up from the road. The “S” bend seat stays at the rear of the bike help gain more vertical compliance to help reduce the road shock to your body. Carbon fiber is also prevalent on the front end of the bike with a tapered head tube for stiffness and a carbon fiber fork that also dampen road chatter but stay stiff enough to keep you tracking straight and true.
Rocky Mountain had high performance in mind when they put together the components on the Solo Pro RSL. SRAM Force handles the bulk of the 10 speed shifting and braking for the Rocky Mountain Solo Pro RSL. SRAM uses double tap technology, which utilizes the one lever to handle both the up-shifting and down shifting. To move the shifting up a notch, Rocky Mountain installed SRAM Red rear derailleur to handle the 10 speed shifting and to lighten the drivetrain. The SRAM Force Carbon crank comes in a compact bolt pattern and is paired with a 50/34 chainring combination. Ritchey’s WCS line of handlebar and stem are a step up from the lesser Rocky Mountain road bikes in their lineup. Rounding out the build kit is the Selle San Marco saddle, Vittoria’s excellent Open Corsa Evo CX Tires and Fulcrum Racing 5 wheels.
The Rocky Mountain Solo RSL is built for high performance from a builder that knows how to execute high performance. Throw some race specific wheels and you are ready to be the terror of your crit series or road race. If you are looking for a race ready machine that can take on anything that comes it’s way, jump on the Rocky Mountain Solo 90 RSL and ride away from the pack.

Each Rocky Mountain complete bike includes free professional assembly by Jenson USA. Prior to shipping your bike, we will completely build and tune it, just as we would for an in-store purchase. Then, we'll partially disassemble and carefully pack your bike for shipping. Please allow 3 business days for the bike build process prior to shipment.
When your bike arrives, it will take about 30 minutes to unpack and perform basic re-assembly tasks (such as installing the front wheel and seatpost) using common hand tools. Jenson USA has created a helpful video (below) to guide you through this process. Stuck? Please call us at (888) 880-3811 and we’ll be happy to help.
