Comments about Sram Force Rear Derailleur:
This derailleur has seen mud, snow, slush, sand and water in its three seasons on my cyclocross bike. It's never hesitated, even in the worst conditions.
A nice compromise between Rival and Red.
One minor quibble -- the cable routing is finicky, especially when swapping out wheels. The cable has a tendency to slip from the channel it sits in (by the fixing bolt). Not a huge deal, but can seriously mess up shifting if you're not careful.

Another reviewer said they do not like the color because it looks cheap but I think the exact opposite, I love the greenish gun metal tint. never had another rear derailleur to compare it to but I've never had any problems with it and much like Sram's front derailleurs, if you follow their installation instructions exactly as described, it will work perfectly!

Comments about Sram Force Rear Derailleur:
This derailleurs works as expected from a Force level component, it shift perfectly and looks pretty good, specially the carbon pulley cage with the Force logos. But what's outstanding is it's durability, I've had mine for 3 years now and it works just like new and has zero play, very tight construction.

Comments about Sram Force Rear Derailleur:
This Force group is the best SRAM has to offer, no need to leap to RED with the quality they provide in this groupo. I think the only thing I wish they would do is come out with a black set in this line. I am not crazy about this color it looks a little cheap.

Comments about Sram Force Rear Derailleur:
I bought a Tommoso Velocita with the force gruppo on it and it was an amazing purchase from the components standpoint. My other road bike is a Specialized Allez with Apex and I really could feel the difference. In terms of responsiveness to shifts, both were very very responsive and provided great tactile feedback. The difference I felt was the lightness felt. The Force rear deraileur was just as responsive but it felt like less mass was moving and in turn made the shift both up and down much smoother and fast feeling. Bottom line: If your budgedt allows for this, and you don't want to make the next big leap to Red, this is a great offering from SRAM.

This derailleur is great. It shifts quickly and never misses. Also pretty light. I use it with my rival shifters and they are a pretty good combination. I honestly couldn't be happier with the performance of it
