I use these brakes on my road bike, and they have been great for all the rides I've done. They stop quickly, and have a nice feel to them. The only drawback would probably be weight, but for the price I can't complain about that.

Like everything else in the Apex group, they have great functionality for the price. The biggest draw back is the weight but other than that they are great. These weigh 308g a pair vs. the Force groups 280g a pair. This really isn't that much making them a great value!

Got these for a rebuild of an older bike, using them with Shimano 105 5700 shifters.
Installation was easy; pad adjustment was great (no squeaking even the first time out), look sharp.
These are great replacements for the decade-old house brand brakes I used to have. Not flexy at all. The first time I used them, I almost locked up the tires - there's next to no flex after they contact the tire.
Works well with pulling wheels on and off - flip the release lever and it opens WAAY up.

Overall these brakes have been a fantastic experience, saved my keester more than once. Good construction, well designed, easy installation, quick release for tire changes. If your looking for something that will never need to be upgraded unless you switch to STI shifters you've found your mate.
