I was a little curious about using these grips. I hadn't ever tested them before. When I saw that they were marked at the right price I couldn't resist a test try. They went on slick and now my bars fell smooth and plush. They have a surprising amount of "sticky" factor to the grip (but in a good way) that help to keep your hands on the bars. The grips don't rotate on the bar once they are in place and they slide on relatively easily.
The technique that I used to place them on the bar is with the window cleaner trick. I spray the bar down, I spray the inside of the grip, and with the bike lying on the ground (so that one end of the handle bar is touching the ground, and the other is sticking into the air) I place the "lubed" grip onto the bar and push down. Once the grip has started to slow down in the process of sliding on, place your palm over the end of the grip and push hard. This should force air into the grip on the bar and "inject" window washer fluid between the bar and the grip. This will make the grip seem really slippery on the bar, but if you read the instructions, it says to leave the grips alone for 24 hours after you have installed them. After the allotted wait time, the grips are stuck on, and not going anyplace soon.
Bottom line these are well worth the buy for some commuter grips. I'm even tempted to use them on the mountain rig.

I was hoping these would be similar to ESI's silicone grips. Not even close. I've used ESI's silicone grips in the past and I quite like them due to the decent friction and excellent softness - they keep my hands from getting beat up on the downhill bike. Not very durable, though, so I thought these Serfas grips would be an inexpensive substitute. The Serfas grips are solid, whereas the ESIs are foam. This appears to be is the critical difference. Without the extra surface area of a foam rubber, the Serfas are dangrously slippery - I've never seen a grip nearly so slick. They're also rather heavy and not as soft as the ESIs.Finally, these grips are shockingly undersized. I understand they're supposed to stretch onto a handlebar, but they have to almost double in diamter to fit, making them very difficult to install.I'm afraid I can see no reason to buy these grips, even at more than 80% off.

Comments about Serfas Silicone Grips:
This grip is really comfortable. It doesn't feel different no matter the temperature or humidity. I would caution if you have smaller hands this might not be ideal for agressive riding. I use these grips on my casual mtb that doesn't see a ton of aggressive riding. I have not had a problem with them it's just I don't feel there is enough grip if things get really bouncy or steep. Super comfortable all day though.

Comments about Serfas Silicone Grips:
These grips are easy to install if the directions provided are followed. I found using the window cleaner recommended for installing the grips also makes removing the old grips easier. I don't know how durable they are but they are great so far after several rides. I bought an extra pair just in case they got torn in a crash.

Very good product for the price that you pay for it

Comments about Serfas Silicone Grips:
I have finished converting all my bikes to silicone grips. They seem to reduce the vibration transmitted into my hands during long rides. You can also ride these grips securely and comfortably without gloves. These grips come in enough colors to make a style statement. The Serfas grips are a little heavier than other silicone grips available but they are a little more durable and are better priced.

Great grip, fairly light, very durable, perfect for me. I wear XL to XXL gloves and these are a good diameter, they also absorb shock well and are grippy wet or dry.

Tried a set to see how they compared to the ESI chunkys- same good feel and a lot cheaper. I'm installing them on all my bikes

Comments about Serfas Silicone Grips:
Best grips for the money hands down. Similar to the popular ESI foam grips at literally a quarter of the price. Light, comfortable with nice shock absorbency. They don't last as long though as they tear and get chunks taken out of them easily. Buy a few pairs at a time.

Comments about Serfas Silicone Grips:
These grips are average at best, not my least favorite grips, but are very low on the list.

Comments about Serfas Silicone Grips:
I have both the red(orangeish)and charcoal grips. Both sets feel great on the hands and seem to be holding up fine after 3 months of casual riding. Installation takes some effort but once they are on the do not move. For the price I can't think of a better grip.

Comments about Serfas Silicone Grips:
It took my mechanic, myself, an airgun and harispray to get on. Once on, they were great. Compared to ESI grips maybe not quite as grippy but with a touch more shock absorption. don't buy, however, unless you'll never want to take them off.
