Fuji SL-1 Shimano Ultegra Carbon Road Bike
Fuji Bikes enjoy a well-deserved reputation for world class performance and tremendous value. Kitted out here with a full carbon fiber frame and Shimano Ultegra 6700 derailleurs; the SL-1 is completely capable of meeting the requirements of a bike race, and is also at home on fast group training rides or the Saturday morning ride with your club.
The heart of the Fuji SL1 road bike is the full High Modulus C-4 carbon fiber frame. The engineers and designers at Fuji Bikes designed its monocoque construction to keep it light and very strong. Pairing the carbon fiber frame is the Fuji FC 770 carbon fiber fork. The Fuji SL1 carbon fiber road frame was the frame that the Footon-Fuji-Servetto pro team relied on to keep them on top of the podium.
Not just another pretty carbon fiber frame, this Fuji SL-1 Carbon road bike has the aggressive stance to keep pace and surpass all the other road bikes in the group. The Shimano Ultegra 6700 10 speed group handles the drivetrain responsibilities with Shimano Ultegra 6700 front derailleur and rear derailleur. Stopping is handled by Shimano Ultegra shifter/brake lever combos attached to very reliable Tektro brakes. Keeping everything rolling smooth are Mavic’s Aksium wheels shod with Vittoria Zaffiro tires. Rounding out the rest of the components are Oval stem, handlebars, and seatpost.

Excellent roadbike for excerising, touring. Climbs hills like its nothing. Changed the seat immediately to one that is a little more comfortable. You cannt beat this price. Watch for raod hazards, rode over some gravel and got a flat! My fault for being ignorant. Overall great job by Jenson!

My first road bike ever and I don't regret it at all. I'm used to doing trails/commuting/everything else on a MTB so that's the only reason I put Con as too rigid, but I'm already used to it. For the price you really can't go wrong if you're looking for a high/mid end road bike at a very reasonable price.

This is my first carbon frame and I thought I couldn't pass up the deal to get such high end components in a carbon frame. I am a bit concerned with the frame however the finish on it looks poor. It almost looks like the clear coat did not adhere properly to the carbon fiber. Hope it doesn't have issues.

Overall the Fuji SL1 is top quality bike except the carbon fiber frame I got is showing some quite noticeable uneven finish especially on the top tube. I know it's supposed to be unidirectional type but most of my friends after the compliment, would rub on the said imperfections and say "what happened to this?"...

In all my research, I have not found, any bike with this cost and the benefits of this Fuji SL1. I had only one problem, which is easily solved: I have 1.81m and I bought size G. The size was very good, but the stem was too long, and the next step is change to a shorter.
The bike has a good gear ratio, and is very lightweight. From the beginning, did not like the brake system, but the performance surprised me. The system of gears, no need to talk about Shimano Ultegra is very good. I highly recommend buying this bike to anyone who wants a carbon bike.

This is my first full carbon bicycle and I have to admit, I am floored. The ride is so smooth and the bike so light, it is hard not to grin from ear to ear while you are riding it. (which, actually resulted in my eating a bug while riding it) I am not a competitive rider, totally recreational, but I do ride close to every day. My riding style leans toward speed and sprints, especially uphill. To this point, I have been partial to high quality steel bicycles and find the ride smooth and enjoyable. I added carbon to my stable in an attempt to pick up a little speed and responsiveness on my rides and that is exactly what I got. Between the light weight and the Mavic rims, out of the box it is a great bike. I switched out the seatpost to the Oval carbon wrapped version. The stock saddle could be worse, but I switched that out too. I plan to replace the tires, but the stock tires are fine. With a carbon frame, Ultegra shifters/derailleurs and Mavic wheels, I just don't think you can beat the bike you get for this price... and I have searched high and low. Just ordered another one for my significant other.
