I recently purchased a bicycle spec'd with this saddle. I've since put about 400 miles on it and just can NOT ride it anymore. The mid-portion of the saddle is far too narrow with too sudden a transition to the rear butt-pads, allowing the saddle to ride too far up into the crotch area. Severe hot-spots can develop on this saddle if you have wider hips / sit-bones typical of persons 6' and over. Changed out for a Charge Spoon™ and the difference is night and day.

Avid mountain biker, this is my 3rd Rocket V Race. Best fitting and best feeling saddle I have ever used.

Comments about WTB Rocket V Race Saddle:
I bought this saddle for my hardtail coming from a good experience with the speed and the pure. The rocket v race surpassed these two in comfort. It took a couple of long rides before my rear came to terms with the cushion. I had numbness in my first few short rides. But at 150 lbs, that's understandable. After that it was pure comfort.
I particularly like the slightly angled short and thicker snout. It allows adjustability for different riding positions especially on long climbs. The signature thick raised rear is just perfect for going downhill.
The silver stitch design looks cool but they wear out fast. It didn't take long for it to turn dark grey with the water, dust and mud. Later the stitches started to tear. The cromly rails feels too soft when tightening the post clamp and chipped off in a couple of rides. No noticeable impact on the saddle stability but I get that nagging feeling it will loosen out some time.
I have sold this saddle and will replace it with the high end version. Hopefully, it keeps the pros and gets rid of the cons.
For the price and the bottomline, I give this saddle a 4.

Got this to replace the stock seat on my 2010 Hardrock because I had bent the rails. Much lighter than the stock seat and looks much better. It was very hard in the beginning and requires a little breaking in. All good though.

Comments about WTB Rocket V Race Saddle:
I happened upon this because I got a good deal and ended up loving it. Race saddles I have tried are very uncomfortable for me, but this fits my anatomy just right. It also allows for free movement while pedaling. I found the Laser V too big in this respect. Get the higher end version if weight is important to you, but it is great for performance on a budget.

Comments about WTB Rocket V Race Saddle:
This is the most comfortable saddle I've used. It's a lower end version though, so the love channel under the saddle gave way on me after some months of use and some of the foam started to fall out. Ironically, this made the saddle more comfortable. Heavy at 320g but this is the cheaper version. Still the most comfortable saddle ever... go for the higher end models of the Rocket, they seem to be made better.

I got this seat a couple of weeks ago and only got a few rides on it so far, but I have seen impressed. good bould quality, comfy, yet stiff; Way better than my old worn out brodie dh saddle it replaced (obviously). Unfortunatly I don't have any other worthy saddle to compare it to. But if you want a comfy saddle that looks pretty good, I think you'll be happy with this one.

Comments about WTB Rocket V Race Saddle:
Good padding and seems to be holding up well, but some of the fabric on the nose seems to be coming out from the bottom, which I have never experienced on my slighter more expensive WTB saddles.

Comments about WTB Rocket V Race Saddle:
I have been very happy with this saddle. After a good long ride through the Vermont woods I'll feeling like I can keep on truckin with no saddle fatigue. If you want a saddle that does not restrict your moving around, this is it.
