Rocky Mountain has, arguably, some of the nicest mountain bikes in the business. They have taken that same love of high performance purpose driven bicycles and applied it to their road bike line. The Rocky Mountain Solo 90 RSL is aimed at the rider looking for maximum performance from their bike to carry them during spirited training rides, century rides or racing every weekend.
The Rocky Mountain Solo 90 RSL’s frame sits on top of the line of road frames for Rocky Mountain Bicycles. Unlike the other models, the Rocky Mountain Solo 90 RSL has a Super Hi-Modulus SL Carbon Monocoque frame. The beauty of carbon fiber is the ability to “tune” the carbon fiber to reach a desired ride quality. That is how the Rocky Mountain Solo 90 RSL can remains stiff enough to transfer power, but supple enough to minimize the constant road chatter that filters up from the road. The “S” bend seat stays at the rear of the bike help gain more vertical compliance to help reduce the road shock to your body. Carbon fiber is also prevalent on the front end of the bike with a tapered head tube for stiffness and a carbon fiber fork that also dampens road chatter but stay stiff enough to keep you tracking straight and true.
Rocky Mountain had high performance in mind when they put together the components on the Solo 90 RSL. Shimano Ultegra is so close to Dura-Ace in performance that blindfolded you would have a hard time telling the difference. The dual control Shimano Ultegra shifters/brake levers will give you crisp shifting and also a one finger squeeze will pull the brakes hard enough to stop you from any speed. Carbon FSA Team Issue compact cranks add a bit more carbon to the Rocky Mountain Solo 90 RSL and the 50/34 chainring combination will let you spin effortlessly up any climb.
The Rocky Mountain Solo RSL is built for high performance from a builder that knows how to execute high performance. Throw some race-specific wheels on and you are ready to be the terror of your crit series or road race. If you are looking for a race ready machine that can take on anything that comes it’s way, jump on the Rocky Mountain Solo 90 RSL and ride away from the pack.

Each Rocky Mountain complete bike includes free professional assembly by Jenson USA. Prior to shipping your bike, we will completely build and tune it, just as we would for an in-store purchase. Then, we'll partially disassemble and carefully pack your bike for shipping. Please allow 3 business days for the bike build process prior to shipment.
When your bike arrives, it will take about 30 minutes to unpack and perform basic re-assembly tasks (such as installing the front wheel and seatpost) using common hand tools. Jenson USA has created a helpful video (below) to guide you through this process. Stuck? Please call us at (888) 880-3811 and we’ll be happy to help.
