I finally took advantage of the opportunity to 'measure' my sit bones in order to find the correct saddle. It turns out that I've been using a saddle that was too narrow for me. After shopping around for a saddle with the proper width, I decided to get the SDG Bel Air RL Ti. It seemed to have everything I wanted, proper width with the right weight (especially with the help of Jenson's price matching).
Installtion of the new saddle was easy (just like any other saddle). Riding became so much more comfortable. I no longer had the numbness that I used to experience after long climbs with my previous saddle. I know that saddle choice is very personal for everyone but I would recommend this one to anyone that asks.
I haven't crashed with this one...yet so I can't say how the durability is (which is why I haven't given it 5 stars).
