Overall these tires have been great! The white looks AMAZING on my bike, and they actually ride pretty good too. I would certaily not use them for racing as they feel heavy and a bit sluggish, but for an all around training tire they seem perfect. SO far I only have 100 miles on them, but rolled over glass and some gravel w/ no problems.
I do run them near the max psi. 110 up front and 115 in the rear. I am a big guy (6'3", 230) and anything lower than that there is too much sidewall flex.

Comments about Maxxis Re-Fuse Folding Road Tire:

I got a second pair of these tires because I love them so much. I commute +10 miles every day in a city that is often littered with broken glass but have never had a puncture flat with these tires. I bought a white pair and they look super sharp. Highly recommended if you're tired of getting flats.

Comments about Maxxis Re-Fuse Folding Road Tire:

I got the white Re-fuse tires, they work well and look sharp, but unlike black rubber, they show all the road grime, road kill, and road apples that you roll through.

Mounting folding bead tires can be a bit of a trick (need to massage them into place as air is added), but once seated properly, they've worked flawlessly.

Comments about Maxxis Re-Fuse Folding Road Tire:

I'm not a racer, so weight doesn't concern me as much as grip and durability. These get the job done and really don't seem all that heavy. The micro-diamond tread pattern may not be best for rolling resistance (or it may be ideal?), but it seems to make for a grippy tire.

Comments about Maxxis Re-Fuse Folding Road Tire:

Really excellent product, was pretty easy to install considering it was my first ever tire replacement and it looks really good in white. Compared to the very old tires I had, these are lightweight and soft, so far I haven't put too much mileage on them, but seems like they will last for quite a bit.

You really can't beat these tires for the price point. I needed some affordable, durable road tires and these certainly fit the bill. My friend recommended them and have been pleased with them for the past 200 miles.

Comments about Maxxis Re-Fuse Folding Road Tire:

Above average tire. Wears slow. Put 1000 miles on,rear shows wear but will switch with front tire in another 500 miles. Likely to get 4000 miles from a pair. Hard to install at first but easier after some miles, should you get flat.Rather have black. White gets dirty fast but the price makes up for.

Been using Maxxis Refuse for years, rock solid road tire if you are looking for vertually 100% durability. Not the lightest tire out there but it will wear out long before it's first flat. Folded version is somewhat difficult to mount. Great price point compared to other "top" brands.

I purchased these tires for a mid 80's Cinelli Super Corsa I am refurbishing and do not ride often so price was a driving factor for this purchase. Once I received these tires they were difficult to install with the tire being stiffer than some I have had in the past. Once installed and aired up the bends from the folds came out. I have only put a few miles on these tires since installation but there is a noticeable difference in riding dynamics over the Continental Super Sport that were on the bike previously. I recommend these tires.
