The Serfas Interval road shoe brings together quality and value. The Interval was designed with the beginner or novice cyclist in mind that wants to make the leap from platform pedals to clipless pedals. The Interval features both 2 hole and 3 hole cleat patterns for maximum pedal options. The three Velcro closure system keeps your feet snug, while the open toe box allows feet to breathe especially after pedaling for miles. Ventilation can be found throughout the entire shoe to keep feet cool and dry during your ride.

These shoes are well padded and breathable for those hot days, so they're great for training, or just to go out riding for a couple of hours. However, not much can be said about the tongue of the shoe, which is very rigid and sometimes digs into my ankle and cuts off circulation if I'm not careful.
You're going to look like a velociraptor when you walk, regardless of what cycling shoes you own; but with these, the sole flexes just enough so you can at least be semi-comfortable when doing so.

Incorrect Sizing Chart
I can't provide an unbiased review as the shoes sent to me (in the size specified by the website) were too small to even get on my feet.

I had my doubts about these shoes before they arrived but I am more than happy. i have quite wide feet and they fit very comfortably. The length is spot on - they fit very true to size.
Quality is decent so far. Great price. no frills.

Comments about Serfas Interval Road Shoes:
Good shoe for the regular price, awesome shoe for the sale price. Fits well, clips in good. Velcro straps seem "cheap", like the adhesion will wear out sooner than later. (had shoes for 1 month) A small learning curve moving fromm mountain to road shoes.

Comments about Serfas Interval Road Shoes:
Moving into the world of clipless pedals but didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I wasn't sure about. Found these at a great price and they haven't disappointed as a first road shoe. I tried some Shimano shoes but they were too narrow. These are wide enough for my feet and there's enough room to fit some thicker socks for cold weather riding. Only drawback was trying to fit the cleats into the shoes. The screws I had were too short. I ended up going to the LBS and the service guy really had to work at finding the right length screw to attach the cleat. $4 in new screws later I could now use the shoes with my new pedals.

Use the shoes for training. Haven't used them for racing, but it seems like they would work well.

Comments about Serfas Interval Road Shoes:
I'm new to biking and found these to be perfect entry-level shoes. I was nervous about buying shoes online due to the chance that they may fit not quite right, but these turned out to be a perfect fit.
