The Apeckx™ combines a supple microfiber upper with the stiffest- in- class DuPont™ Zytel® nylon outsole that has been engineered to rival the performance of premium composite outsoles, with greater fatigue resistance than traditional nylon soles. To keep your dogs at bay, a supportive EVA footbed with Aegis® anti- microbial treatment was chosen. The EVA footbed is not only comfortable, it’s supportive. Comments about Giro Apeckx Road Shoe 2012:
Great shoe for a great price...what else needs to be said. I didn't want to splurge on the carbon shoes and this was a great compromise...still very light. I may need to drill them however to do midfoot cleat placement...but that's something that very few manufacturers offer. I have a narrow foot and they fit very well for me.

Comments about Giro Apeckx Road Shoe 2012:
My dog ate oen of my Diadora road shoes that were my first pair that i bought on a budget... and they were good shoes because i did not have much to compare too. The Giro Apeckx fits much better and is very comfortable and they have a good look, the new nylon sole is very comfortable and light weight. I was initially furious my dog ate the old shoes... now i am glad it happened.
