I just turned my pins down about 1/16th. There is a ton of grip. Its nice pulling off a foot when im braking/sliding through a corner. I am still getting used too lifting my feet to regrip, once they are on they arent moving. So far so good.

Had a pair of these on my dirt road/commute bike for years. They are a little heavier than some, but the best grip I have ever had. I have ridden lighter pedals but none grip as well as these do with regular/casual shoes. I have never sliped off them, even on rough roads. After 4,000 miles one of the bearings is a little rough but they still spin fine. The only thing I can think to improve them would be a titanium axle and ceramic cartridge bearings. Great buy.

Not a fan of smaller pedals... Growing up, I rode BMX every day, tons of dirt riding, and always loved the feeling of riding with platform pedals under my feet. These pedals do just that, give me great grip and pedal control on the trails.
