NICE TOUGH TIRE
NOT HARD TO INSTALL AFTER LETTING WARM UP IN THE SUN. NO FLATS AFTER A MONTH, SO TO ME, PRETTY TOUGH. OTHERS SAY THEY ARE HEAVY. I CAN'T TELL, MY BELLIE WEIGHT GETS IN THE WAY. HECK THOSE FOLKS ARE COMPARING GRAMS. LOSE A POUND OFF THE BODY THEN THESE ARE FEATHER LIGHT. LOL. OVERALL A GREAT PURCHASE. I WILL BUY MORE OF THESE WHEN ON SALE.

Like a rock!
Been using Maxxis Refuse for years, rock solid road tire if you are looking for vertually 100% durability. Not the lightest tire out there but it will wear out long before it's first flat. Folded version is somewhat difficult to mount. Great price point compared to other "top" brands.

Look great, ride pretty good
Overall these tires have been great! The white looks AMAZING on my bike, and they actually ride pretty good too. I would certaily not use them for racing as they feel heavy and a bit sluggish, but for an all around training tire they seem perfect. SO far I only have 100 miles on them, but rolled over glass and some gravel w/ no problems.
I do run them near the max psi. 110 up front and 115 in the rear. I am a big guy (6'3", 230) and anything lower than that there is too much sidewall flex.

great tire
Great tires. I enjoy doing 80, 100 and 100+ mile rides and got tired of burning through lighter race type tires. Took these on a 186 mile ride through construction, zones, hills, debris filled roads, wet roads and perfectly smooth asphalt. They performedr great. I even got them to 40-48 mph and felt great. The slightly higher weight is a great trade off for the durability and ride quality they provide.

Great training tire
I normally run Michelin tires but decided to try these because of the color (white) and price. First thing I noticed, comfortable ride, I mean plush. Not much rolling resistance, and durable. Very happy with this Maxxis tire. Think I'll try their racing tire next. My only gripe, hard to get on the rim. I punctured one tube so far, just be careful.

Great, durable tire
I've put 300 miles on these tires so far. They have been ridden on everything from fresh paved roads to gravel and occasional glass shards. No punctures or tire chunking to date.

Excellent tires!
Love these tires. I use them for pavement and gravel. A little slick on some gravel, but they still work. I have ridden over glass many times and have never gotten a flat. I pass a lot of people with these tires. I ride 28c.
