Comments about Shimano PD-M324 Pedals:
Use them on recumbent trikes so you don't run over you legs if you foot comes off the pedals.
Comments about Shimano PD-M324 Pedals:
Bought them for my mountain bike, used clip side on the uphill and flats on the down. Grip isn't good enough though, feed kept coming off. In their defense they aren't really designed for MTBing. I'd recommend them for road biking.

Used this pedal after my Wellgo's bearings began to have a problem. Great pedals but there heavier then the Wellgo pedal. Great for transitioning into clipless.

Comments about Shimano PD-M324 Pedals:
Great pedals for the commuter with the need to clip in every now and then. Ride them daily with and without my road shoes. Took them on a 60k ride first day I had them with no complaints. I love being able to twist my foot right or left to release.

Comments about Shimano PD-M324 Pedals:
since i have returned to riding road bikes my mountain has been neglected. after getting used to being clipped in i had ridden my mountain once and hated not having the security of locking into the pedals and only being able to mash the pedals, which made me fatigue quickly. with the addition of these pedals, i have a renewed joy of riding my mountain with renewed vigor. the dual sided platforms provide you with the opportunity to mash instantly when travelling through traffic without clipping in, but still having the same level of stability of platforms. on the notoriously bad streets of new orleans these pedals keep you firmly attached, but still afford you easy kick outs when you need to get your foot down fast. i went kicking and screaming to finally begin clipping in, now i won't ride on regular platforms.
