I am a cheap SOB- I purchased 2 sets of these tires prior to 2011 CX season and raced/trained on them basically until now. I have ridden them on the road at 60+ psi and raced at 30-40psi. They performed admirably in the predominantly dry/loose AL cross conditions and did OK in the mud. They have a durable tread that is only now starting to really wear in the middle.
Limp Sidewall comment came from running them super low psi and feeling like they were going to roll off the rim during off-camber downhill turns, but never did actually roll off.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
