used this and a Sella Italia SLR for my Orbea Alma 29er build. Very happy with results on first road test. smooth ride. My only complaint is that it is difficult to adjust the two bolts with any multi-tool because of the taper of the post. the tool handle will interfere. I had to use a long 1/4 drive extension.

Installed this seatpost as part of an effort to takes some weight off my Scott Scale 29er. It's featherly light, installed easily and hasn't slipped or shifted one millimeter. Love the two-bolt seat clamp for getting the seat angle perfect.

I kind of went backwards and read reviews about this AFTER I bought it and was a little nervous about the results I found. It seemed that hardly anybody liked this seat post because of some of it's features. I was so convinced this product would disapppointment similarily that I had it ready to return the second I received it. However, for kicks, I threw it on my XC 29er and gave her a spin. First of all, the reviews were way off...there was no 'squared off' post as was mentioned and there was certainly no room for mud and water to enter the seat tube, which was the most common dislike about this seat post that I found. It fit like a glove, provides a level of dampering on the trail, feels strong despite my 230lb self, and goes perfect with the easton monkey lite bars that I also picked up from jenson...ALSO at a steal of a price!

Got this after reading the review in MBA and it's great - especially at Jenson's sale price. The carbon construction takes the high-frequency buzz out of a trail ride. You won't think you're on a DS bike, but you will be a bit happier on your hardtail - and your bike will be lighter as well. Easton does it right.
