I got these to upgrade what was on my 94 Enduro Expert. Read all the reviews on bearing issues and decided to give them a try. So far no problems after a few good rides. Looking at how they are made, my thoughs are that the issues folks are having could be from improper adjust/cleaning/messing with....
I also heard about spokes breaking. I'm not heavy ( 165 lbs ) or that aggressive but did buy some spares to have on hand just in case.

Just a couple of rides so far, but so stoked on the wheels. Hub is super quiet, quick to engage, and solidly built. UST tires went on with a floor pump no problem, and don't loose pressure. Dropped 2.75 lbs on the wheel upgrade.

I tend to torture wheels due to my riding style. As a profesional mechanic for CTS and locally for over 15 years I can confirm these are extremely well built and stay true like nothing I have used in the past. If your looking for a wheel set to hold up to abuse and stay true, look no further. The best wheels I have ever purchased, I highly recomend these.

My first UST wheelset. Paired with Maxxis UST tires, these went together easily and have perfromed flawless so far. When used with actual UST tires, no sealant has been neccesary and the tire/rim combo has had zero burping on trail. The valve stems were a bit loose as delivered, easily fixed with no tools.

Easton appears to have solved the loosening rear hub issue by altering the bearing tightening direction counterclockwise i.e. left is tight. As the wheel spins it no longer moves in a direction to loosen the threads.
Love the wheels, noticeably stiff, precise and light.

Two of my riding buddies highly recommended Havens when it was time for me to upgrade to 15mm front and 142x12mm rear thru axles. Solid wheels, light, aesthetically pleasing on any bike, and just a tad over the affordable price range.

Wow, these wheels are nice!

Love the look of this wheel. So far it is really stiff and super light. I am amazed that it is straight as an arrow after a really rough ride over some pretty vertical rocks and drops. I guess I have just gotten used to poor quality. I would recommend shelling out the bucks you won't regret it.
Comments about Easton Haven 26" UST Wheels Black '12:
I use my Havens for aggressive trail riding on my Blur LT carbon. At 200lbs with a tendency to bash in to things, I am a bit brutish with these wheels. So far they have stood-up to the abuse.
They are light (1650g), stiff, and great looking. Tubeless setup easily without any goop, and I did not need a compressor. (I used my floor pump). I recommend using proper UST tires. I tried the super-light single ply slant-six 2.35 and I found it rolled too easy in aggressive cornering. I also ripped out the side-wall on a root. Now I am running 2.1 UST X-king. Heavier and more durable sidewall, but that basically evens out with the smaller profile. Also, at lower pressures, the tire grips like higher volume tires but doesn't rollover while cornering.
Back to the wheels, I have broken two spokes. I hope this does not continue. It is a good idea to get spares when you get your wheels since they are not typically stocked at most bike shops.
