I bought the original T2 back in 2008, so I have been using this rack for 4 years. I went through three or four different racks before I got this one, and it is easily the best rack I have ever used. It is easy to use, and folds up with not in use, yet is easy to move to access the back of my Durango. This allows me to leave it on the car for about 8 months of the year, only removing it for winter.
I also purchased the 2-bike add-on, though I haven't used this as much (it mainly just hangs in the garage and looks cool).
The T2 is a very heavy rack, but this seems to add to the durability of it. By situating bikes side by side, but without touching, you need a lot of rack, so the heavy-duty rack is a must. Also, the cost can be a lot to swallow. I was lucky to get a great deal on it, but have found it is much cheaper than buying multiple racks tryig to find the best one. Just buy this rack! It is easy better now with the integrated locks (a feature my original T2 doesn't have).

Thule T2, doesn't get much better than this. Recently upgraded cars, went from a 1 1/4" receiver to a 2". Love that I can now add the add-on, doubling my carrying capacity.
