Inexpensive pedals that aren't too heavy and have good grip. I use Shimano M520's and these depending on what I'm doing and these have performed as expected whenever I've needed them. Great buy for 1/3 of the price of some popular name brands. Buy these and save your money for upgrading parts that NEED to be over-engineered. =)

Comments about DMR V8 Pedal:
grip doesn't get any better but watch out for the pedals; they'll bite ya. Just a price you have to pay. Highly recommended otherwise

Comments about DMR V8 Pedal:
Platform pedals for a good price, your feet will stick to it like glue! got the white pedals to match my bike, only complaint is the ring on the spindle slides off. It's not a big concern because you just have to slide it back.

Comments about DMR V8 Pedal:
These look nice out of the box, but once I seen they need greased I knew I wasted my money. Grease these more then you think they need or you will be getting new pedals.

Comments about DMR V8 Pedal:
used these for just over 2 years on a XC bike.....i really love the amount of grip they offer, and they are very strong pedals, and i really like them, but the bearings need to be cleaned and adjusted about once every 8-9 months.....its nothing big, but i would rather if i didnt have to do it.....the next model with sealed bearings is the V12 Mag, with almost the same design like tese, and i bought those for my new bike, if u could afford the V12 with the sealed bearings, you should get those, if you cant, these will be great as well, but keep in mind they have loose ball bearings.
these grip like crazy in the dry, wet or mud, shoes flip flops it does not matter, they grip......i never had a problem of loosing pins and i never had them hit my shins, but i'm pretty sure if they did it would be nasty...

Comments about DMR V8 Pedal:
I've had a set of v8's for 2.5 years. The bodies are still in fine shape, albeit a bit scratched up. The bearings require frequent service or they will become worn. The sealing on these pedals is not the best, so frequent rebuilds are to be expected. For the money, they are a very good value.

Comments about DMR V8 Pedal:
For the price these are great flat pedals, my feet feel glued to the pedals over a variety of terrain. Only downsides are the lack of enough grease from the manufacturer and when you do come off these pedals they will tear up ur shins or calfs.

Comments about DMR V8 Pedal:
This pedal will keep your feet glued in position, wet or dry. At almost 2# it's a bit heavy but built to last.

Comments about DMR V8 Pedal:
I bought a pair of these for use on my commuter bike and they've worked great (I'm not a fan of clipless pedals). I'll probably buy another pair for my touring bike. My only complaint is they DO NOT come with enough grease; the small syringe only has (barely) enough grease for one pedal. I was able to cut up the syringe and load it with marine grease to fill both pedals. DMR either needs to include another syringe in the box or add a bigger one.

Comments about DMR V8 Pedal:
I have used these for one full riding season so far and the only things I would say would be:
1) If you snag your leg on them it will hurt
2) One pin came loose and fell out start of my second season, couldnt find it. Good news is that DMR uses standard set screws so you can pick them up at any hardware store.
