I crashed and broke my old Giro helmet last summer so I got an Influx because it was cheap and comfortable. The large fits me well even if I have a skull cap, cold weather cap, or headband on under it. I crashed in an XC race a couple weeks after I got my first Influx and it did it's job to save my brain. Cracked right through the back. After I finished the race, I went out and bought a new one the next day. Great helmet...does what it's supposed to.

Great Helmet!!! Purchased for my 8 year old son ......and he loves it!!! Fits great, has great adjustability and a space for a ponytail, if needed. This replaced an older Bell Vela, which after 4 years still looks and wears great, but recently broke on him.
Great helmet for kids at an unbeatable price!!!
I have found that if you buy a good helmet for them.... One that fits well, they will wear it!!!!

I have a large, hard to fit cranium, this fits me great! Use it on the xc bike and some good all mountian stuff. Love Bell products, they arent the sexiest Euro stuff but are a good dependable USA based company. I am not crazy about the colour (Black and grey), but it was all that was available at the time...and when that is your biggest problem, you have no problems!

I use for mountain biking. The plastic piece in back with dial works great to get secure fit. However it just might be the shape of my head and where my ears are that the plastic piece cuts into the top of my ears. I just have to loosen the dial a bit and it cuts into my ear less. Good price for what you get. Helmets can be relatively expensive.

First off I have had this helmet for over 3 years and it has withstood mile after mile of hard XC riding. After this many years and starting to road ride more I realized this helmet has probably a little long in the tooth to survive a serious road crash so I went on the hunt to find a road worthy helmet. I settled on a Giro initially but after 1 25 mile ride I was swearing like mad and wishing I had my old Influx on. It just didn't fit my head so I promptly returned it and grabbed a new Influx in white to give me better visibility on the road and now reserve my old helmet for Mt. biking only. Bottom line this helmet lasts and its worthy of road riding as well. Its highly durable and for me is one of those pieces of gear that I just don't even think about, I know its gonna fit and do the job if I crash. Highly recommended!

Great value in a super lightweight helmet with waaay oversize vents, ideal for cooling off off my perspiring cranium.I have a large melon and so got the large. Even so, I have the ratchet mechanism open all the way and it fits nicely - but only just. Being a navy dude, I keep my hair short, but if you have a large pumpkin and a sizable pompadour, recommend you look at something that comes in XL.Shipping to Canada was uber-fast, and kudos to JensonUSA for the all-in shipping price - no customs, duty or brokerage fees is definitely a plus!
