rubber gasket came out of shaft in two months,,,flooded bearings with water and sand..shimono rep said warrenty was voided when I looked into the guts to look for the problem ???was/nt a great pedal from beginning??? I cant buy just the rubber washer..rep said have to buy new shaft body complete ????for the money i paid i feel ripped off. dont buy this

I love these pedals. I got them befor the middle model but they have lasted. I've had two other models from the same manufacturer that are no way near the quality of these. My only complaint is some of the soft areas can cause bues and result in nasty scrapes and cuts if not filed off correctly.

This is a great pedal. Plenty of room on the platform for a quick takeoff before getting locked in. Sheds mud and sand very well. I've never had a problem getting in or out of the pedals.
My only complaint which keeps these pedals from a 5 star rating is the bearings seem to loosen up. I've had my pedals less than a year and their is quite a bit of bearing play on the axle.

I was using Shimano PD pedals for about a year and was experiencing numb feet on long rides. I decided to try this pedal with its large pedaling platform and my issues were gone. It's heavier and more expensive than most pedals, and designed for trail riding, but it has done the trick for me commuting and riding long rides on weekends.
