The Maxxis Re-fuse is one of the most popular road training tires. It is highly durable and is able to rack up tons of miles. The Kevlar® belt and silkworm cap ply combine to provide excellent puncture resistance. Don’t wear out your expensive race tires while training. Comments about Maxxis Re-Fuse Folding Road Tire:

The Maxxis Re-fuse have been great. They came folded, minimum packaging. Opened them up and put them in the sun for an hour. Installed easily after that. Kevlar beads make rim installation a breeze. I have put 200 miles on these tires. No problems - Star balls, branches, glass and two vicious potholes...I'm250+lbs. No issues what so ever. They roll great, good rolling resistance. Holding up very nicely. Downside, none so far.

Comments about Maxxis Re-Fuse Folding Road Tire:

I normally run Michelin tires but decided to try these because of the color (white) and price. First thing I noticed, comfortable ride, I mean plush. Not much rolling resistance, and durable. Very happy with this Maxxis tire. Think I'll try their racing tire next. My only gripe, hard to get on the rim. I punctured one tube so far, just be careful.

Comments about Maxxis Re-Fuse Folding Road Tire:

Great all purpose training tire. Some reviews stated there is more rolling resistance but it is barely noticed. Very grippy on corners and descents. The all white tire looks very cool too.

Comments about Maxxis Re-Fuse Folding Road Tire:

This is a good tire, especially at the price. I haven't tried expensive race tires to compare the performance, but this is a great value. I use it for road training when I'm not on my mountian bike. The rolling resistance and weight are good. The white tires add some serious bling factor to my white Rocky Mountain Prestige. All in all, I'm really glad I bought these. I may buy another pair.

Comments about Maxxis Re-Fuse Folding Road Tire:

Overall these tires have been great! The white looks AMAZING on my bike, and they actually ride pretty good too. I would certaily not use them for racing as they feel heavy and a bit sluggish, but for an all around training tire they seem perfect. SO far I only have 100 miles on them, but rolled over glass and some gravel w/ no problems.
I do run them near the max psi. 110 up front and 115 in the rear. I am a big guy (6'3", 230) and anything lower than that there is too much sidewall flex.
