The Volt’s design incorporates a wider whale tail section with a broader nose. This allows the rider to move back on the saddle to bear down on the pedals and to sit on the nose more comfortably when sliding to the front of the saddle. The love channel and comfort zone help alleviate unwanted pressure during the ride. The Volt is Comfortable. Definetly different from my Specialized Phenom. The Volts nose sweeps down more and it's a smaller saddle than the Phenom in width & length. I feel I can easily get my body back behind the seat on decents on the Volt and my shorts don't hang up on the nose when I move forward on the seat.The phenom wasn't "that" uncomfortable but it lacks the details in regards to being able to move around on the seat.

As comfortable a saddle as I've found and at a nice weight, less than 200g. I couldn't find the Specialized Format SL anymore, so I gave this one a try. I got lucky. My butt hated the WTB Silverado, but gets along well with the Volt. I've ridden 5+ hr rides on it and it's as comfortable as the Pure V to me.
