This is a great rack and wonderful upgrade from my old Yakima Doubledown. This allows me to open my rear door completely on my 2010 Rav4. The integrated lock is really nice and I haven't had any troubles with it. The swing feature is a little more involved w/the pin and screw. But it's still fairly easy and provides a solid mount. The only potential weakness I can find might be the cradles. They do feel a little flimsy, but they've held up well for me so far and they lock in place better than they did on my old rack. I do take care when I slip on and pull off my straps, in order to avoid any undue stress on them.

This rack is easy to install and was a perfect fit for my vehicle. SUV's with a rear tire mount with appreciate this rack. The swinging arm causes the rack tpo sit off the rear of the vehicle giving enough clearance for the tire mounted on the back of the vihicle.
