I only run clipless on my hard tail trail bike, which is a Chromag Stylus. Great shoe so far for the price. They are easy to set up, comfortable to walk and ride in and were a great fit even though I ordered on line.

I have a narrow foot and these are sold in Euro sizes. I picked a 47, which is close to a size 12 and they fit pretty well. They could be a little more snug, but they are comfortable to wear.

I like the fact that they have a lace cover, since I hate when laces get all nasty after a couple rides. The only downside is they are a little on the heavy side, but no big deal. Overall, I would recommend them.

Great shoe for the price, no hot spots, fit well. Have used them for moderate and expirienced trails for 20 mile rides and more w/o any issues.

I use these shoes for DH and trail riding. They are super comfy but still have a stiff platform to pedal. I find doing the shoe up a bit fiddly while trying to hold the velcro flap back. Walking in them is OK. They are still not a walking shoe, but they do protect the cleat better than other shoes I've owned. Overall I think they are perfect for DH use and walking up the odd trail when sectioning things.

great great shoe, stylish, good looking, comfortable feels like a regular basket ball shoe, I have only use the bontrager race before wich is a pretty light shoe compare to this (250g vs 450g per shoe). this shoe feels solid easy to clean, the only sad thing about but its just in my case I ordered with delivery to mexico, they charge me 43 bucks more for the import duty but that was my own fault, well the shoe was totally worth it, an exact size match I don't follow any number or size I buy my shoes by cm wich I am 27cm this shoe is 27.2 in the 43 a perfect fit I hugs my feet and feels very very good and tight (but comfy). its easy to clip in and unclip, it transfer energy very efficiently, pedals like heaven. I really like the shoe.

Fits great. Easier walking around when I'm off the bike. Had a little difficulty adding the cleats but that was more of a preference determination.

The product is great quality and super confortable, the best pair of shoes I have owned.

If you are riding in hot conditions the shoes may get a little hot due to lack of vents, but for wet or cooler condition they are perfect.

These are great shoes, the best for those who end up hiking around a bit and don't want to be caught in the ballerina slippers of yester-year. They can get a bit hot on a summer day but other than that they are solid and comfortable.

One thing I noted was my pair (size 43) ran a bit bigger than a 43 in other Shimano shoes styles from years ago. So see if you can try a pair on before you buy.

decided to go back to spds for longer rides after riding flats exclisively for a few years and wanted a shoe that would be as comfortable as my old sidi's, more toe room than my 5.10's, a good grippy sole for off the bike and didn't look like plastic mtn racing slippers.
Jackpot with the AM45s.
I will be buying a pair of AM41s (the non clipless version) soon to replace my 5.10s that are cashed after a year.
This is the shoe i have been looking for for a long time. And the best part is they fit true to size so i didn't have to return them like the 3 pair of 5.10s.

First time user of SPD so I can not really compare it to anything. I ride a Specialized Rockhopper around local single track trails. I didn't want the traditional looking SPD shoes so I got these instead. Great style and price.
