The official saddle of 4 time world champion Brian Lopes, the WTB Silverado’s elongated shape allows riders to use the nose of the saddle while climbing. The square profile of the saddle also puts more weight over the sit bones for more comfort.

the white makes my bike pop.
Comments about WTB Silverado Pro Saddle:
I bought this saddle to replace another WTB that I smoked the rails on after coming down hard on the saddle. This one has experienced the same hard hit with my butt, and full weight and the rails have held up so far.

Comments about WTB Silverado Pro Saddle:
I bought this saddle to replace a WTB Rocket V w/Ti rails that broke. It's got a similar "love channel" and is just a little heavier, so if you like the Rocket shape, you'll probably like the Silverado. It is a little harder, as it has a flatter profile and not quite as much cushioning, but on my DH rig, this is perfect for racing. The white color looks sharp, but it does require some extra maintenance to keep clean.

Comments about WTB Silverado Pro Saddle:
I've now got this saddle on all 4 of my bikes. It fits me, is very durable, and reasonably light. Saddle selection is 100% about fit and is different for everyone but the Silverado is my saddle and I will put one one every bike I own. I like that the profile is reasonably flat which fits my sit bones well. The shell does flex very well and that helps a lot with the comfort. You can move around on it a bit for different riding conditions (like climbing, descending) and it works well. My only real complaint is that the covering is somewhat 'sticky' so that if you're moving around a lot (like sliding off the back of the saddle to descend) it feels like it sticks to your shorts a bit...leather covered saddles don't seem to do that. I've got close to 2000 miles on a couple of these on different bikes that I have and they still look and feel new...very durable.

Comments about WTB Silverado Pro Saddle:
I have six bikes, all with different saddles, and this is by far my favorite. I use it on my singlespeed cyclocross bike (commuting and racing). It's comfortable enough for commuting and firm enough for racing. Love it!

Comments about WTB Silverado Pro Saddle:
I have used this saddle for several years on two mountain bikes. Saddle comfort is highly personal, but this one works for me. The shell noticeably flexes, which contributes to the saddle's comfort on my hardtail. The covering seems is very durable; it has stood up to many miles and several crashes. I chose to save money over grams and went with the NiCro seat rails, a choice I haven't regretted.
Comments about WTB Silverado Pro Saddle:
Loved the Devo, but alas, kicked it to the curb once Silverado came along. A tinch lighter than Devo and a lot more comfy. Get this seat...at the price it's unbeatable.
Comments about WTB Silverado Pro Saddle:
I was looking to replace the stock Bontrager saddle that came on my mountain bike, because, while it had more padding, it allowed the foam to reach pressure points, making me numb and causing noteworthy discomfort on rides of over an hour. The Silverado fixes that perfectly. It's firm for sure, but supportive in the right places. I now sit up on my sit-bones, and the combination of less padding and the "love channel" keep blood flowing. However, I'm 6' tall and only 160 lbs., so my lighter weight might make it a better fit for me. I can imagine heavier riders might prefer a bit more foam. If you're like me, though, it's awesome. I'm buying a second one for my new 'cross bike.
Comments about WTB Silverado Pro Saddle:
this is a good saddle if you want a narrow, superlight, racing saddle with minimal cushioning, but probably not the best idea for epic rides.
