Rocky Mountain is a semi- custom bike manufacturer, that is based (and builds bikes) out of Vancouver, British Columbia. Since they are not pumping out hundreds of thousands of bikes a year, they are able to take their time and ensure that every Rocky Mountain is the best it can be.

As your adrenaline pumps, your heart beats a million miles an hour, and your palms sweat at the top of the mountain, remember that the Rocky Mountain Flatline has many World Cup titles to its credit. Remember that Thomas Vanderham, Wade Simmons, and Geoff Gulevich race on the Rocky Mountain Flatline and win. The last thing on your mind should be whether or not your bike is capable.

The Rocky Mountain Flatline World Cup’s frame is comprised of FORM ™ 7005 series custom shaped alloy. The 1.5” headtube is beefier and adds stiffness that a 1 1/8” and tapered headtube cannot. The Flatline features LC2R (low Centre Counter Rotating) patented suspension. This suspension design provides lateral stiffness and a highly predictable ride in all conditions. Its low sprung weight and concentrated suspension mass allows the LC2R suspension to respond faster to ground forces, such as stutter bumps, and keep the rear wheel glued to the ground during acceleration.

Professional downhill racers only use the best, therefore Rocky Mountain paired the Flatline World Cup with a Fox 40 RC2 Kashima coated suspension fork, and a Fox DHX RC4 Kashima coated rear shock. The Fox 40 features 203mm of stiff yet reactive travel. The Kashima coated stanchions improve the performance and helps to shed debris. The Fox DHX RC4 was built for all- mountain/ freeride/ downhill riding. The shock is highly tunable; the rider is able to adjust the rebound, low- speed compression, spring preload, bottom out progressiveness, and bottom out force.

The Flatline World Cup features all high- quality components including SRAM X0 hydraulic disc brakes, SRAM X0 10 speed trigger shifters, and DT- Swiss E540 Tubeless rims laced to DT Swiss 350 hubs. This bike will not cease to amaze you. Rocky Mountain’s pride flows from the well constructed frame through the gobs of high- end components.

Each Rocky Mountain complete bike includes free professional assembly by Jenson USA. Prior to shipping your bike, we will completely build and tune it, just as we would for an in-store purchase. Then, we'll partially disassemble and carefully pack your bike for shipping. Please allow 3 business days for the bike build process prior to shipment.

When your bike arrives, it will take about 30 minutes to unpack and perform basic re-assembly tasks (such as installing the front wheel and seatpost) using common hand tools.
