The Kenda Karma has been a long time favorite. The Karma features small, square, low profile knobs. This tire can be used as either a front or rear tire in almost any condition.
This version of the Karma features an upscale version of the L3R rubber blend used for performance motorcycle tires. With the L3R Plus you’ll enjoy longer tread life, and a lighter tire

Comments about Kenda Karma 29" L3R Pro Folding Tire:
I purchesed my first real mtb, a like new GT Sensor 9r, and these tires came on the bike. There are about 375 miles total on them, I've put about 200 miles on them myself and the seem to ware even without rotation. I ride on and offroad, mostly off and they are very durable. I've hit some rocks that should have slashed or popped these things but they have held up very well.
Since this is my first mtb I'm not to sure on the milage these tires should give but it seems they ware out a bit to fast. Just about need new tires on my bike after 375 miles, just wish they last a bit longer.
Overall they grip well in all types of dry AZ terrain. I'd like to try them again.
