I couldn't find any on-line reviews of these things, but decided to take a chance - price is right, and I've been relatively happy with other Serfas products I've owned in the past (tires, grips). First - just to let everyone know, these do come with the spring clip. I've got about 5 good rides on them so far (2-4 hours each), and they work great - feel the same as the Avid semi-metalics they replaced, including both dry and several wet rides - literally in the rain with plenty of mud.

These brake pads looked like a good deal. The same few companies probably make the same pads and sell them under different retailers. However and whomever makes these pads uses a compound that lasted us about 2 weeks of touring in Northern India. Our Avid brake pads lasted roughly three times as long. Just our experience. Spend a few more bucks for a few more miles of riding!
