I've been using these shifters for the last year and am very happy with them. They shift smoothly, and once dialed in they've been a "set and forget" piece on my bike. I like the bigger triggers (compared to Shimano) and the 1:1 ratio makes shifting very quick. They might not be as nice as X9, but they're cheaper and X9 doesn't give you that much of a performance difference.

These replaced some SRAM X5 shifters than I broke in a wreck and WOW what a difference they make. Going from the cheesy plastic shifters to quality metal makes a huge difference in how my bike shifts. They shift very precisely and smoothly. They may be somewhat heavier than their more expensive counterparts but for the money they are fantastic value.
