Di2 electronic shifting enables a whole new level of riding that can't be experienced through traditional mechanical shifting, by offering smoother, faster, more precise and nearly flawless shifting. Shimano Di2 SW-R600 Climbing Shifters are to be used in conjunction with Di2 drop bar shift levers and is designed to be mounted on the right-side top section of a drop bar, adjacent to the stem. This allows you to conveniently shift the rear derailleur up or down with the right thumb while in a climbing position. At a measly 10g, you can easily afford the extra features for such a small weight penalty.

Shimano Di2 R600 Remote Climbing Shifter Features:

  • Unit is designed to be mounted on the right-side top section of a drop bar, adjacent to the stem
  • Proper placement allows the rider to shift the rear derailleur up or down with the right thumb while in a climbing position
  • All Di2 components on the bicycle require the same firmware version. Using Di2 components with different firmware versions may cause malfunctions
  • Use Di2 system checker to update component firmware from http://e-tubeproject.shimano.com/
  • Compatible with e-Tube Dura-Ace 9070, R9150, XTR 9050 and Ultegra 6770 Di2 systems; not compatible with Dura-Ace 7970 Di2
  • SW-R600 Remote climbing shifter has a 265mm length built-in E-tube wire
