I mounted these shifters on Retroshift levers for use on an otherwise all Campy Chorus 10-speed triple drivetrain and matched them using a J-tek Shiftmate. They replaced a worn set of Campy Ergo brifters at significantly lower cost.
Shifting is as fast and accurate as Ergos and the friction front shifting is much more versatile than even Campy multi-click front shifting.

I bought these for my surly cross check. I went to my LBS for installation. Works fine. Crisp shifting.
If you need a lot of shifting action, buy yourself handlebar shifters. I now live in a hilly city, and it's a pain to change speeds often.
