This thing cost less than ten dollars shifts fine and I'm going into my 3rd year of using it for mountain biking very frequently in all conditions, with no complaints. In very fast rough stuff chain can fall into little ring.

Used this derailer for my hardtail which had an XT derailer. Used the XT derailer to build up a full suspension MTB. The LX derailer works great; can't tell any difference in shifting compared to the XT.
The price is good, but i'd rather go back to my Deore derailer. It is just way to hard to push the trigger to shift, and it constantly needs adjustment! not a Fan
Very satisfied. will recommend to a friend & relatives lightweight, easy to install, the screw so can remove the chain without taking it apart is the best very convenient.
