Nice entry level shoe, the bolts at the botton goes through the the insert and can become uncomfortable, they do give you a little sticker that helps prevent it, but in time it still wares out and cuts right to the sole of your foot, the buckles are easy to break, but very easy to replace. Very comfortable. good padding top and sides and the sole is very solid. bottom line, a very great shoe.

Had M310 shoes which were perfect for XC, but was looking for something more versatile for XC, AM, and the occasional trip to Whistler.
These fit the bill perfectly. Fit and stiffness are great. Grip is good for the "hike a bike" sections.
I use these with XT pedals with the small platform ant the shoe/pedal interface is great.

The tongue does not stay centered and slips off to the side. The vinyl part of shoe where closure attaches tore after 3 months of use.

I bought these shoes because I wanted to try different brand outside the Specialized shoes that I was using. These babies are very comfortable, the buckle made it very easy to adjust, the sole is more flexible than the ones that I was using. This is a very all around shoe and for the price have better features that other brands at higher price.

This is my second pair of Shimano bike shoes. My first pair were the 225's and were extremely durable. I finally had to replace them after six seasons as the material inside the shoe was beginning to wear out. Because of my previous experience with Shimano durability as well as reading numerous reviews, I'm hoping these will do the same. This pair is definitely more comfortable than the 225's so I'm happy about that. Although it has not been been very hot yet, the shoes breath well and keep my feet at a good temp. My only real complaint is that no toe cleats were included with the shoe and I didn't see any for sale online. I'm going to try to get some inexpensive soccer cleats to see if they will work.

Great all mountain shoe. Quality adjustable straps and buckle. Solid construction...these will last a long time. Recessed cleat allows for comfortable walking when necessary. Very happy with this product.
