I bought a bike with XT 775 wheels on it about 3 years ago and have gone thru 5 freehubs now. This last one I put on lasted 3 weeks. This freehub has a serious problem

My bike came stock with the XT M770 freehub and it failed after about 18 months. I replaced it with a new one and that failed after 10 months. I probably average 4 hours a week of riding and at 170 lbs am not a heavy weight. This part just isn't durable enough.

I would recommend shimano for lightness; not durability. I intend to contact Shimano about this concern as I am not new to riding but I am new to substandard products such as this.
