This was an upgrade over a 7 year old SRAM 8 speed cassette (which had at least one broken tooth). I was able to easily install and adjust everything by myself. My bike now shifts like brand new again, better than new actually. I am happy that my chain no longer rattles and skips in the rear!

I bought this product for my tour bike. I didn't want to drop a ton of money on it as I was n't sure it was going to work with my current setup. The tour bike has an Ultegra 6700 long cage DR on it and I was not entirely sure that the DR was going to able to handle a 34 tooth cassette. If it wouldn't then I was going to need to buy a new rear DR. Well it works flawlessly a bit close on the spokes but no more then the 28t. The cassette is great it shifts as well as the $129 model but of course weight is the killer. This thing is heavy. The upside to the weight is the cassette will last forever. Weight is not a huge factor for me. A great value for the money.

I bought this cassette for a back-up wheelset for my Trek Superfly. It's the same as the stock cassette on the bike, and I've had no problems out of the original. It's not the lightest of Shimano's cog sets, but I'm no gram counter. It meets my needs by doing exactly what it's supposed to do! It's a quality product at a good price.
