Chain rubs on bottom of "compact cage" when installed on an 02-05 Specialized Enduro. I have the M665 version. When in the 22 tooth front chainring, it will rub in every rear gear except the two largest. The cage is about an inch shorter than the cage on the stock LX front derailleur.Looks like a very high quality part other than my fitment issue. I will be returning this and getting a derailleur with a normal cage length that won't rub.
