Comments about Shimano XT Disc/Rhyno Lite Wheelset:
--Re-built 95' Diamondback WCF Carbon fiber hard tail. The wheels are STRONG and RELIABLE and AFFORDABLE. It was a challenge for me to find wheels that would work with caliper breaks from this generation that were not total garbage or really expensive!
--Don't seem to weigh a whole heck of a lot on this light frame
--I am 205 lbs and hard as hell on all my gear--been riding these from Jenson for 2 years strong with NO issues and NO need to True yet

i love these wheels. had been running the stock rim/hub that came with my bike but finally bent them to out of wack to true. been running these for a few months now and since having them trued when i first got them they have stayed that way. thy are a little on the heavy side but that doesn't bother me.

I've got over 6K miles on my set from 2006 on my 04 Epic. They need a slight trueing on the rear and to be retensioned in the front (still perfectly straight)I've never done any maintenance on these wheels or hubs.
They are on the heavy side but since I was up to 270 (250 now and dropping) and ride like bull through a china shop i won't complain. These rims took everything Ive thrown at them and just keep going

Comments about Shimano XT Disc/Rhyno Lite Wheelset:
I bought this wheelset for my first from-the-ground-up bike build: A 1999 GT XCR-3000 full suspension mountain bike. I've been using this bike to get myself more acquainted with mountain biking, and as you can guess, that's made for a lot of good times and bad times! And at 225 lbs, I assume some of the bad hits and landings I've taken would have thrashed a low quality wheel.
One of the things that sold me on these wheels was their disc and rim brake compatibility, because my frame has no rear caliper mount, but I equipped it with a newer fork that does. The braking surface on the rear (with an Avid Single Digit 7 brake) doesn't seem very grabby, but I am so heavy on the front brake that I probably haven't even worn the surface in completely.
The Shimano XT hubs have been totally buttery over the nearly-two years that I've been running the wheels. And I haven't had to do a thing with them. The rear axle is just now starting to get a little wobble in it, to where I'll have to open it up and make sure everything's clean and adjusted.
These may not be very light wheels. I honestly don't know -- I didn't even pay attention to the weight of my components. I chose almost all of the parts to make my rig durable and worry-free. This wheelset has certainly fit the bill. They have performed excellently, especially given the very reasonable price.

Excellent build quality. Replaced my stock GT Sensor's wheels when one became out of true and the LBS said it was "within spec".
Comments about Shimano XT Disc/Rhyno Lite Wheelset:
I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else. Probably the best dollar for dollar value I have made on my bike.
Comments about Shimano XT Disc/Rhyno Lite Wheelset:
OUTSTANDING PRODUCT! I STAND 6' , WEIGH IN AT 200 LBS. & THESE WHEELS TAKE EVERYTHING I CAN DISH OUT. AS I STATED ABOVE, I HAD TO ADJUST THE CONE NUTS ON THE HUB RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX, BUT NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL. SKEWERS COULD BE A LITTLE BETTER BUT IM NOT CRYING. THESE WHEELS WILL NOT GET THE 5 STAR REVIEW FOR THE HUB, AND SKEWER ISSUES. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE IN THE MARKET FOR A NEW WHEELSET, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A BIG RIDER.
