      These are great shoes. Great for those hike a bikes and technical DH rides. The ankle protection is great. I would however, wear a lighter pair of shoes for those long, non technical rides, just to keep overall weight down.

          Fit, look & feel great! I have a need for a shoe that will grip the rock at Moab when this old man pushes up a rock here and there. Have rode hard core shoes for 20 years, first pair of lace up's I have owned, these are the shizma!!! Zero slippage on the slick rock, work very well on bike, will still use other hard core shoes for power rides, but are the shoe for fun rides with friends, if your into the sport you know what I'm talking about. Had a warm weekend at slick rock, 2 weeks ago, rock was mostly snow free, only ones out there!!!!! Eat your hearts out!!! Lol.

              Nice looking, appear to be of quality construction,fit very good.I only intend to use them occasionally. Just trying clip in's for the first time. I like em so far...pretty easy in and out and seem to hold well when riding. I have them adjusted on the lower end of tension adjustment to aid in easy out till I'm more use to using them. So far all good.

                I bought these shoes for long mountain bike tours. They give me a bit more ankle support for long days on the road but look enough like a conventional hiking shoe for walking around city streets and hiking on trails. They seam like a good quality shoe.
