6700 series cassette has reduced ratchet surface and other machining of material to reduce weight. However, this does have an impact on performance. Also, the 12/27 range which is optimal for CX is not available for the 6700. I have multiples sets of both cassettes and prefer the 6600 for CX and Criterium racing. There is a difference regardless of what the moron who posted the other review notes.
