Got this to replace a 12mm hub from a used wheelset I bought. The price was right and it has worked great so far.

Comments about Shimano XT M756A Rear Hub:

I had my previous M756 for 4 years without a single service. Self service on this product is a breeze with the correct 17mm and 18mm cone wrenches with a tube a grease! Even though this hub has a poor engagement angle, the hub provides me with enough durability to keep the pedals cranking!

Comments about Shimano XT M756A Rear Hub:

I have a Trek Superfly and ride a mix of XC trails. After 5 years of riding my back wheel got bent and original shimano dero hub went bad. I am a big guy, with gear I am around 250 lb, so I went with Stans No Tub Flow 36 hole rim and a Shimano XT hub, and Hutchson Python 2 tubeless tire. A couple rides in and everything is great.

Will these work with 105 5800 11 speed rear cassette? If not, what 135mm wide hub do you recommend? This is for a road touring frame with 135mm rear spacing.
