These work great. I have them on two bikes, and they get beat up on occasionally at one of the gnarliest mountains on the east coast.

Comments about Shimano SLX M675 Rear Derailleur:

I damaged my rear mech on the trail and broke the inner cage. I wasn't sure if anything else was damaged without a comparator so I ordered a replacement and swapped out the outer cage for a OneUp RAD cage. My first time replacing this and it went on fine and I was able to do all sprocket and limit adjustments perfectly.

Comments about Shimano SLX M675 Rear Derailleur:

This product was bought for a friend. I bought it based on people's reviews on its durability, performance, and its price.

Initial impressions: well packaged, box wasn't crushed. The derailleur arrived without any defects.

I live near Jenson USA, the package was delivered in a fast two days.

I installed it on a race bike (Ridley Blast A9) that was being built at the time. The shifting is very comparable to XT, with the exception of weight and sealed bearing pulleys. The for the price, it's features are worth the buy.

It is paired with Deore shift levers, a SRAM PG 1030 cassette, and a KMC x10.93 chain. I plan to get an SLX cassette so the system works a bit more smoothly. For now, it works just fine.

It's been ridden more than 100 miles now and it still runs like new. The clutch needed adjustment after 50 miles (yes, it can be adjusted).

I highly recommend this derailleur for its performance and attractive price.

Comments about Shimano SLX M675 Rear Derailleur:

Bought this to upgrade a 9-speed drivetrain to 10-speed and get rid of the chain slap that goes with the non-clutch-style derailleurs. Works great, easy to install shifts precisely, and the clutch mechanism makes the chain slap almost nonexistant even on a hardtail in rocky terrain. Works just as well as the XT derailleur on my other bike.

Comments about Shimano SLX M675 Rear Derailleur:

I bought this SLX derailleur to replace a 6 month old identical derailleur that I had destroyed by not replacing frayed cable in time and it got sucked in to my spokes. It was of no fault on the derailleur, and It always shifted extremely well and the new one does too. I run a 1x10 setup, and with the clutch mech I have never dropped a chain, and the shifting has always been responsive and accurate. Very happy, I think this is the best performance value derailleur you can buy.

Comments about Shimano SLX M675 Rear Derailleur:

It's a good derailleur and I bought it specifically for my new 1 x 10 setup because it is supposed to eliminate chain slap and chain drop. I ended up turning off the clutch on the first ride because of the difficulty in shifting (probably due to the maxed out b-tension). It has been two rides now, and it is still turned off with no issues. Maybe I didn't need it, or maybe I'm using it incorrectly but I probably could have stayed with my old one....
