Comments about Shimano F180P/P2 Disc Brake Adaptor:
Ok, it's an adaptor. There's not much else to say? Works as designed, fits as designed, feels like a fairly quality piece. I do fully approve of how much mounting hardware Shimano includes with their brake parts. I work in auto repair and nothing ever comes with hardware, so that's appreciated.

Comments about Shimano F180P/P2 Disc Brake Adaptor:
It works. The directions have the cupped washer in a spot that didn't make the break pad line up properly with the braking surface, so I moved it and that fixed the problem.
For those that don't want to pay for this, you can just go buy longer screws and spacers at home depot for under $5 that will do the same thing.

Comments about Shimano F180P/P2 Disc Brake Adaptor:
Great design but PAY ATTENTION to the instructions. There are installation steps that are critical and will damage your fork if not followed. Installation is somewhat tricky so just pay attention.

Comments about Shimano F180P/P2 Disc Brake Adaptor:
It's exactly what it says it is--a necessary adapter to space your calipers on post-mount disk brakes to accommodate 180mm rotors. It bolts right on (even includes longer bolts with lock-tite already on them). If you put it on upside down, it won't work. I got it right on the first try, of course, but just so you know. The only way this could be better is if it were free (maybe even packed with the kind of spendy XT calipers), but Shimano has kids to feed, right?

Comments about Shimano F180P/P2 Disc Brake Adaptor:
Simple and easy 160 to 180 caliper conversion. Use this if you want to use a bigger brake rotor.
