Not the best....
This chain broke 3 times within a month of purchasing. Never had any luck with the Shimano chains but wanted to give them another chance. I back to using SRAM.......

At about 10 months of riding, shifting became unreliable. Checked cable tension and derailleur adjustment. Replaced factory KHS chain with HG-93. Shifting drastically improved. Don't know if it's because the HG-93 is better, or because it is new.
One noticeable improvement is this chain seems to self-clean better than the original chain.
This chain was easy to install. I just compared my technique with the instructions included with the chain, used the old chain as a size guide, and got her done. Piece of cake. On my previous bike, I always ran HG-73 chains on the 8 speed, and that is why I chose the HG-93 for this 9 speed bike.

I replace my existing HG93 w/ another one. It was over 3yrs old but still working, I just tought it needed replacement for precaution. I am also keeping the old one for a back up!

I used this chain with 3 bikes from DH, AM and XC. it always work. Just make sure it will be oily.

I have this chain on my road bike when i bought it three years ago, since then i never had to replace it and sold it just this last summer and put a HG-93 chain on my mtn bike and my new commuter bike. Great chain will def keep buying it.

I have a Spec'd Stumpjumper FSR Comp that came with this chain. I have been extremely happy with my drive-train, and wanted to retain the smooth shifting I am accustomed to. I ride about 100mi/wk, & race x/c as much as I can. My orig. chain lasted me a couple of years.

I've ridden this chain for 9000 miles on a Hone crank coupled to an XT rear end. I find it hard to believe but it's still going very strong all be it with thorough cleaning and lubricating every 100 miles or so. Most of my riding is on the road but a nice chunk of it's life has been off road in nasty sandy demanding conditions both on the S FL trails and the UK.

Replacement chain for original chain on 2008 Giant Anthem mountain bike with shimano XT components. Used old chain to size new chain. Took off 3 links. Installation was easy once I learned to use tool (bent pin on 1st try). Once pin was installed it works great.
