The Sigma BC 1609 STS Cadencs picks up where the Sigma BC 1009 STS leaves off. On top of all the essential functions including average speed, maximum speed, current/average speed comparison and total trip, the Sigma BC 1609 adds a stopwatch, temperature display, back light and cadence. If you are fortunate enough to have two bikes, the Sigma BC 1609 STS Cadence can store 2 different wheel sizes and will automatically recognize bike 2. When the battery starts to run low, the Sigma BC 1609 STS Cadence gives you an onscreen notification. You won’t lose any of your data during battery removal with the assistance of the integrated data back-up storage chip. Post ride, upload your data via the optional PC interface.

This is the first bike computer I've ever had so I don't have anything else to compare it. So far I have enjoyed everything about it. It wasn't too hard to set up and it has held up well in wet weather. It has an auto shut off feature so the batteries still haven't ran out for me after 300 miles. It has many different features but I usually just keep it on cadence while it shows the speed right above it. It also has an arrow that shows whether you are below or above you average speed.
