For the money, these give you the performance of the more expensive rear derailleurs out there and without the worry of wasting your dough when you scrape it off on a rock. While the shifting is flawless, it looks like the new Sram X.9 type 2 is out at about the same cost so go that direction unless you get a killer deal on this.

A pice of art, i would say, very easy to install, very precise, and light weight. theres is jus a little piece by the time youre installing that should be open in order to properly fit in your bike that might cause problems, and I believe this is not metioned in the manual, but maybe that was because it was my first build, so probably it was me.

Currently run this on my XC bike and it works amazingly well. Shifting is precise and fast. This product makes me wonder why you would spend more money on the XX or the X0. This one just works.

Using the medium cage on a 1x10 setup, I paired this with Sram's PG1070 12-36 cassette and the performance is awesome. The derailer has even taken a few rocks and still working great.

I use a long cage x.9 rear derailleur on my Mojo HD with great success. It is easy to set up, doesn't drop the chain and the shifting is quick and crisp, even under load.
